About this study

RIVER is an original Dylanvir teaching exercise. The drawings show chosen assignments, not film, tracking data or a simulation of an NFL outcome. The other defenders and protection must enter a fuller study before this becomes a complete play model.

For wider coaching context, Anthony Stone distinguishes pre-snap and post-snap reads; Clayton Cason’s report of Kyle Cogan’s coaching explains how route-matching responsibilities can change a simple zone picture.
